We use a Kim8 Machine - that comes with EU Safety Certification which you need for your insurance.

Kim 8 is 40khz Fat Cavitation and has 3 different RF handpieces for face, neck and tripolar (that we actually use this on face and neck instead as gives better results) and has Vacuum on there (we use this for insane BBL results) and also Laser Lipolysis.

**Please be careful when purchasing these machines online as there are a lot of fakes on the market. Within my Programme, I also provide you with the direct link to my manufacturer should you wish to purchase another machine and have two on the go as back up. (I personally have two of these and I LOVE them!).

You need to ensure that whatever machine you choose does 40khz Fat Cavitation, RF Skin Tightening and Vacuum Therapy. You must ensure the Fat Cav handpiece MUST be 40khz, any higher than that and you will NEVER get amazing results for your clients. As anything above 40khz is only for shallow areas.

This is the beauty with body sculpting that anyone can do this business as we do not need any special licences etc to perform treatments.

You will need to register with the council if you are going to work from home, but I teach you how to do that within the course. Also, as you do not need any special licences it is extremely easy to get council approval.

This is one of the most common questions we receive and it’s important to clarify the distinction.

While some body sculpting treatments like fat cavitation and RF skin tightening may be listed on the TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) as approved modalities, the machines themselves do not necessarily require TGA approval UNLESS they are being marketed as medical devices.

The TGA primarily regulates medical devices such as pacemakers or skin needling pens to ensure safety and efficacy in clinical settings. Many body sculpting machines used for cosmetic purposes are classified differently and fall into a regulatory grey area, especially when used strictly for non-medical, aesthetic applications.

Some manufacturers choose to pursue TGA clearance voluntarily for marketing and reassurance purposes. However, this process can be extremely costly (often exceeding $30,000 AUD), which is why most beginner-friendly machines on the market opt for EU Certification instead — a highly regarded standard used across Europe.

From an insurance perspective, most Australian & worldwide insurers currently accept EU-certified devices for use in cosmetic treatments.
